Questions & Answers

When does the site open?

We are open from Saturday 22nd June right through to Wed 3rd July.

A standard booking gets you access to your tent from 0800 on Wednesday 26th June until 1200 on Monday 1st July. 

Extra nights can be added at the time of booking or any point after, until 7 days prior to arrival.

 

Check-in time?

Check-in time is 0800-2200*, during our reception opening hours. 


*Check-in/out outside of these times is possible but we need advance notice and there may be a charge.

Check-out time?

We know how it can be after a festival, we offer the option of a ‘late check out’ option for Tuesday 2nd. Giving you time to enjoy and reflect.

How much is an extra night?

Extra nights cost £50 per person, per night. So even if only 2 of you party want to come early/stay late, we can facilitate that.

What’s in the tents?

Each Avalon Boutique Camping unit is a 5m bell tent. 

All come furnished with real beds, (90×190 cm singles / 180x190cm doubles – just shy of super king size in length) and high quality foam mattresses.

Each bed has winter tog duvets, 2 pillows per bed, high quality linen and a throw.

They also contain solar lighting, a small table, a plant, general waste bin and recycling bin

Restaurant opening times

Breakfast

– Monday to Friday 7am until 9:30am
– Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 8am until 10am

Lunch & Dinner

– Wednesday to Saturday 12 noon until 3pm

– Monday to Sunday 5pm until 9pm

– Sunday Carvery 12 noon until 3pm

What are the bar opening times?

Bar opening times are;

10am – 4am daily

Can I get help with my luggage?

Yes, we have a team of stewards equipped with wheelbarrows to help you from the car park right to your tent door. 


 

Is there Wi-Fi?

An wireless internet connection is available throughout the campsite provided by our own 4g boosters.

Which is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Bristol airport, 42 mins from our site

Is the site secure? Can anyone access the site?

Yes, the site is secure, we have 24 hour security from when the site opens until after the last guest leaves.

No one will be able to access the camping area without an Avalon Boutique Camping wristband so you can rest assured that your belongings will be safe and sound.

What facilities are on-site?

We have;
– luxurious, hot showers and flushing toilets.


– A AA Rosette awarded restaurant with external dining.

 

– A fully licenses bar with cocktail terrace over looking the campsite and the world famous Glastonbury Tor.

 

– Pamper suite with seating, mirrors and access to power for hair dryers etc.

 

– Outdoor seating in the camping area,

 

– secure phone charging locker

Where can I park?

Yes, there is onsite parking’ 

This can be booked on check out.

Are festival tickets included?

No, festival tickets are not included with your tent purchase and must be purchased separately, directly from the Glastonbury website. 


Proof of a valid ticket must be provided within a week of booking for all guests, otherwise your booking will be cancelled and the deposit refunded.

Getting to and from the Glastonbury site

We are fortunate enough to be just a mile from the Glastonbury site, this means there are plenty of options for travelling between your tent and Gate A.


– Walking:  We’re roughly 2 miles from Gate A so approx a 40 min walk. 


– Bicycle: 12 mins


– Shuttle bus: stops right outside our The Crossways and 10 mins later (depending on traffic) drops you at gate A.

– Taxi: There are plenty of cabs in the local area during the festival and our reception team will be more than happy to book one for you. Depending on traffic, it should be an 10 or so minute drive
